Would highly recommend for families!
We had an excellent time on our tour. The tour guide was excellent. We have four young children (ages 1-8), and we were not sure how they would do for the four hours. But Marialena told stories that were really engaging to our kids. She was able to answer all of our historical questions as well. I think it made our experience of the Acropolis/Ancient Agorra at least ten times better than if we had gone on our own.

A great day for the whole family!
We booked a mythology tour on rather short notice, as the Percy Jackson guides were not available. We certainly don't regret our choice. Velocity was very quick to answer and helpful when organising the details (times etc.). She also suggested several options to complement the visits to the sites.
And we had a fantastic day with Xenia. She was so friendly, knowledgeable and engaging. The children really enjoyed her vivid explanations, and the grownups too. She made the sites come alive with her colourful descriptions and stories. She also was able to answer all manner of questions. She was very flexible and attentive to our wishes and needs. As we had already visited the ancien Agora on our own, due to my misreading the tour description, she suggested we visit the Kerameikos instead. This was spot on! It was a wonderful quiet place and just as rich in history as the more known sites. I would recommend it anytime. The many tips she gave us between attractions helped us make the most of our last day in Athens.
We also enjoyed the drive to Sounion, with the stop at beautiful Lake Vouliagmeni - an ideal break. The hour spent there was very atmospheric, and once again enriched by Xenia's comments and descriptions. All in all a very special and absolutely wonderful day - the highlight of our trip!

Wonderful Athens mythology tour
Our family had an amazing private mythology tour with Marialena. She was fantastic - very knowledgeable, engaging and passionate tour guide. Since the tour started earlier (thank you Nikos for moving the start time!) we avoided crowds and Marialena was able to add a little extra to the tour and showed us Greek Cathedral. Great addition.
I highly recommend this company and Marialena as the tour guide.

Greek Mythology Tour
In March, we visited Athens, Delphi, Corinth and Nafplion. Nikos organized the best Greek Mythology Tour for us and our grandson. He assigned the perfect tour guide for us and Marialena was fantastic. My grandson had learned about the Greek gods from reading Percy Jackson books and was thrilled with her. He still talks about our trip. We were just there for 6 days and everything was organized perfectly. It was wonderful just having the three of us with a private guide. There was not one thing we didn't like. We, definitely, would recommend this company to anyone wanting to do private tours.

Mythology tour and evening food tour
We began our visit to Athens with the Athens food tour and it was like spending the evening with a friend. Elena was informative on history, culture, and food. She tailored the tour since we had two college kids and two younger children. We not only had a great food experience, but thoroughly enjoyed our time worth Elena. Our second tour was an early morning Athens mythology tour. Evita knew more about Percy Jackson than even my well read 10-yr-old. With temperatures nearing 105F, she guided us to the shady spots to talk before each important site and where to refill water and buy frozen lemonade to cool off. We had an enjoyable morning with Evita and saw the top sites at the Acropolis and Agora.
