Like we had an old friend taking us out!
Marina, our tour guide, was excellent and made us feel like we have an old friend taking us out. Excellent way to try local cuisine and drinks. Plenty of food and great variety, lots of local alcoholic drinks as well. Highly recommended.

Amazing evening food tour - come hungry!!
We did an Athens evening food & wine tour with Marina the other night. This was the final night of our 2 week trip and we ate some of the best food of the whole trip that evening. We started with about 5 tapas at a restaurant that put a more modern flair on Greek cuisine. We then went to a traditional Greek restaurant that we never would have come across otherwise. About another 5 dishes. We were stuffed by this point but everything was so delicious!
We then proceeded to a wine bar to sample 2 whites, 2 reds and a dessert wine (all Greek) and those came with food pairings as well. The night wrapped at a bakery to sample some baklava. I have never been so full, but everything was so delicious that you couldn't stop eating!
Marina was an EXCELLENT guide. She was very knowledgeable about the food & wine, and was a pleasure to speak with about Greece and Greek culture. I highly recommend this tour!

Wonderful Food & Wine Tour of Athens!
Amazing Food Tour - Excellent Guides - Wonderful communication. I would highly recommend their Athens Food and Wine tour. We visited 3 restaurants in the center of Athens along with a wine bar for a flight of Greek Wines and Mezes to end the evening.

Amazing Greek food (and its history)
I was lucky to take the Food Tour in May and, may I just say, YUM! They took into account (and asked me ahead of time) my preferences (vegetarian). During the tour, I discovered a lot of history and dishes I wouldn't have discovered otherwise.
It was an amazing afternoon walking and eating our way through Athens' food history. I am not a foodie, but I enjoyed this trip a lot!

Awesome night food tour!
We did a private food tour of Athens and could not be more pleased! Eleni was our guide and she was warm, friendly, and so knowledgeable! We immediately felt like we had known her forever! We met in Syntagma Square and went to two fantastic restaurants and finished the evening in a little hole-in-the-wall wine bar. We got to eat real, authentic, local food from places we probably wouldn't have known otherwise. Home-cooking on little side streets, tucked into corners you would've missed without a guide. We tried about 10-12 different dishes and 3 different wines along with a huge (and tasty) local cheese tray. I have food allergies, so I was glad we were able to pass that information along ahead of time, so that I could avoid any issues. Eleni even gave us tips on other places to visit and the best place to get loukumades in Athens.
Booking a private food tour with Greeking.me is definitely worth the money spent and made us have a deeper appreciation for the city, culture, history, and cuisine!
